From January 1, 2026, there will be a reduction in the regulated component of the electricity price. The state will take over the financing of support for renewable energy sources (POZE), which will no longer be reflected in the price of electricity for customers.
What does this mean in practice? Simply put - you will pay less. And this regardless of whether you have electricity with a fixed price or use another type of product. The saving is CZK 495 excluding VAT for every MWh consumed.
The abolition of the POZE contribution will have a positive effect not only on households but also on companies. For connection points at higher voltage levels, the decrease in the regulated price is even more significant.
In short: from 2026, you can look forward to lower electricity bills.
